Introduction
KRK Systems produces some of the finest monitors for the world of professional music recording. The company is now a part of the famed Gibson family of brands which is based in Nashville, Tennessee. The company has made excellent monitor systems since the late 1980s. Their speakers are being used by professionals in music recording and multimedia content creation each and every day. It is always interesting to note how a brand can be so easily identified by the look of its products— KRK fits this with their distinctive yellow colored speaker cones and tweeters that have black interiors. In fact, one look at a pair of KRK speakers will tell you quite a bit about the brand. KRK has always made unique products, but it is not just about the aesthetics, it is also about their amazing ability to reproduce the full spectrum of sound frequencies which make them a top-notch choice for some of the best professionals in the business of making great music.
Which products from KRK Systems that were used by the great engineers and recording studio facilities of the past would be a great fit for the educational space?
KRK Systems has a line-up of speaker offerings for any application in the world of music recording and or, content creation— therefore making them excellent choices for the educational space. In this article, I am going to focus on their professional V Series of monitors and their excellent Classic Series of monitors. KRK does make the Rokit Series of monitors, as well, and these monitors would be excellent choices for the educational space, too. I am also going to introduce their great headphone systems, subwoofers and their new portable monitor series— the GoAux portable monitoring systems. While working as an assistant engineer in the professional music recording industry, there were a number of legendary recording studio engineers who used KRK monitors as their speakers of choice while tracking, editing and or mixing their work.

KRK V Series Monitors
The KRK V Series of monitors are the choice of a number of professional recording studio engineers who work to record, edit and mix great music each and every day. There are three monitors in this fabulous line-up of speakers from the company— the V4, V6 and the V8. While the V4 would be perfect for content creation and multimedia work, the V6 and V8 would be great choices for working with music— recording, editing and or mixing great music. This line-up of monitors would be excellent for the educational space.

KRK Powered Subwoofers
The line-up of powered subwoofers from KRK is a comprehensive one. There are four models— the S8.4, S10.4, S12.4 and the 12sHO— from KRK. Each of their powered subwoofer models are compatible with each of their line-ups of monitor speakers, including the V-Series, Rokit Series and the Classic Series of monitors. Their subwoofers allow for the monitor speakers to be able to have a wider ranging low-end response. Keep in mind that it is always a great idea to have the advice and counsel of your studio designer before placing a subwoofer in your recording space.
KRK Classic Series Monitors
The line-up of Classic Series monitors from KRK Systems is an excellent series for those who are engaged in content creation, podcasting and multimedia work. In this line-up there are three powered models— the Classic 5, the Classic 7 and Classic 8. The Classic 5 is perfect for both content creation and podcasting, both the Classic 7 and Classic 8 would be an excellent choice for working with multimedia applications— including working with professional music in small footprint recording studio spaces. This line-up of monitors would be excellent for the educational space.

KRK— KNS Headphones
The KNS line-up of professional headphones are new products from KRK Systems. Using the fabulous technologies from their amazing line-up of professional recording studio monitors, their line-up of KNS Headphones are excellent headphones that would be great for use in recording studios, editing suites and multimedia facilities. The new headphones from KRK Systems would be an excellent fit— no pun intended, for the educational space.
KRK— GoAux Portable Monitors
The new GoAux monitoring systems from KRK Systems are perfect for content creators on-the-go. These portable speakers come in two different model sizes— the GoAux 3 and the GoAux 4. Both of these speaker systems are perfect for content creation, podcasting and multimedia applications which require the engineer or content producer to have a portable monitoring solution. (It is worth noting that they also come complete with a very nice carrying case, too.) This line-up of monitors would be excellent for the educational space.
